THE FINER THINGS
I love antiques! I love furniture! My passion for both of these stems from memories of my grandparents’ farmhouse packed with old stuff and old furniture.
Fast forward to 2009 when I began working at a local second-hand store as the receiving supervisor. So many stunning, unique pieces of furniture caught my eye, and the highlight of my days became when they would be dropped off for me to fix up for resale. I often wished I could have my own retail store just so I could be surrounded by such lovely furnishings! After a few years of being a stay-at-home mom/grandma, I decided to take a furniture painting class in 2016, adding to my repertoire.
My dream came true when we opened the doors to The Finer Things in March 2017. I could not have done this without the love and 100% support of my husband Eric.
